Biography
Kevin Chen is a performing artist of the Chinese yoyo, which is also known as the diabolo. He first picked up the Chinese Yoyo in 2014 during his Sophomore year in high school when he joined Plymouth-Canton's Orbit Yoyo team. After the first year, Kevin moved into a leadership position where he started to teach beginners and choreograph the performances.

During his undergraduate years from 2017 to 2021, he was an active member and later president of Revolution Chinese Yoyo, the University of Michigan's Chinese Yoyo performance team. Throughout his time on Revolution, the team traveled around the Midwest to perform at OSU's Lunar New Year Celebration, the Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival, the Detroit Institute of Arts, Google Ann Arbor, and of course, countless shows at the University of Michigan.

Since graduating, Kevin now resides in Chicago where he continues to practice and perform around the city. He has since performed at Chicago Navy Pier's Chinese New Year Celebration, Chinese-American Service League's Gala Fundraiser, and the ACE NextGen Pathfinder Awards Ceremony.
